The registration fee includes unlimited access to all scientific sessions, coffee breaks, and the Meet & Greet on Friday evening.

You can also register to special tracks and courses that are included in your congress registration. Find more information here.

EACVI Membership fees equal the difference between standard and discounted registration fee, but come with all the additional EACVI membership benefits for one year. So please sign up for EACVI Membership HERE before registering. You will NOT be able to sign up for membership during on-site registration.

The registration fee includes 21% VAT.

Level 1 track

Follow the Level 1 track (selection of sessions) during the congress and get CMR Level 1 certified.

You will be delivered a certificate upon confirmation of your attendance. Participants must attend 85% of the sessions included in the level 1 track to get their certificate. It can happen that some sessions are run in parallel, this is taken into account in the 85%.

Pre registration is mandatory. This is included in your congress registration.

Level 2 case SESSIONS

If you are interested in higher levels of CMR training and certification and if you struggle to collect cases on stress perfusion and/or congenital for your logbook, you can follow the one or the two dedicated case sessions that will provide you with a case certificate that you can use for your logbook.

Outline of the sessions:

  • Introduction
  • Familiarisation with software – 15 minutes – delivered by software representative
  • 15 cases presented – – presentation led by the chair
  • Final discussion

Seats are limited and pre registration is mandatory. This is included in your congress registration.

Special courses and tracks

Registration to the overall meeting is mandatory to register to the special courses and tracks.

Included in your registration to the congress, you can also pre-register to one of the below special courses and tracks. Seats are limited and will be honoured on a first come first serve basis. Pre registration is mandatory.

  • "3D printing" by Dr Giovanni Biglino and Dr Silvia Schievano (Friday 26 May, 15:30-16:30 or 16:40-17:40)
  • "Anatomy of the heart" by Dr Cristina Basso (Friday 26 May, 11:30-12:30 or 13:45-14:45)
  • "The heart's shape and structure in relation to function" by Dr Philip Kilner (Saturday 27 May, 09:30-10:30 or 11:00-12:00)

UEMS / EACCME CME Accreditation

The 'EuroCMR 2017' is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS),

The 'EuroCMR 2017' is designated for a maximum of (or 'for up to') 15 hours of European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME credit to AMA credit can be found at

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognized by the UEMS-EACCME for ECMEC credits are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Booking and cancellation policy

Cancellation or alteration

Any cancellation or alteration of your registration must be notified in writing and will be subject to the following conditions:


  • Until 20 April 2017: refund of fee minus 25% administrative charge.
  • After 20 April 2017: no refund.

Name Change

  • Before 20 April 2017: name changes will be charged €60.
  • After 20 April 2017: no name changes will be accepted.


No-shows at the congress will be charged the full fee. A fixed price of €60 will be charged for the replacement of lost badges. Refunds will be processed after the congress.

Liability disclaimer

The above terms apply to all registration cancellations.

Should a delegate not attend the congress, for whatever reasons, no further claims for reimbursement or waiving of fees can be made.

Similarly no right to further claims or waiving of fees will arise should the ESC be obliged to alter the programming of congress proceedings

All delegates are urged to take personal travel insurance.

In the event of serious special or unforeseen circumstances or serious circumstances beyond its control, the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) shall be entitled to cancel or modify the dates of the event. You shall not be entitled to compensation for any costs or damages incurred as a consequence of such a cancellation or change.

The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) will not be liable for any theft or damage to property and/or persons caused on site during the Congress, by any factor whatever, unless there has been a fault, intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of European Society of Cardiology (ESC).

The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) shall not be held responsible in the event of poisoning or food intoxication during the Event.

The Congress Secretariat is managed by AIM Group Prague s.r.o., Panská 7, 110 00 Praha 1, legally represented by Mrs Tereza Havlásková. It acts as an agent and cannot be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to any person or property, whatever the cause may be.

Liability of persons and enterprises providing means of transportation or other services, however, remains unaffected. By proceeding the registration, you authorize AIM Group International to use all registration data given for a computerized handling of the congress.

By registering for the conference, the delegate confirms a contractual agreement with AIM Group International. AIM Group International is the only contractual partner to the delegate in terms of the registration and is the only responsible for queries, complaints and cancelations.

The contract between the delegate and AIM Group concludes after the delegates’ order and the following confirmation of AIM Group International.

Privacy law and data protection

By filling out the registration form, the participant gives consent that ESC and AIM Group Prague s.r.o. can process the data provided within the framework of the meeting and allow photographs to be taken during the event. This includes, unless registered participants object, all handling needed for the applicant's participation at the event and for the drafting of a list of participants which will be distributed at the conference, and placing photographs in the pictures gallery accessible only by participants and ESC members, in the ESC newsletter or selecting some for articles on the conference in a journal or newspaper, or in any other web/printed publication. Right of access: applicants have a right to access and ask for changing or deleting their personal data, which will be kept by ESC and AIM Group Prague s.r.o.

In compliance with the Czech Law regarding personal data protection, AIM Group Prague s.r.o. hereby informs that the information here given will solely be managed internally and used exclusively for the purpose of communication within the scope of the congress activities such as scientific and social. By filling the registration form you authorize AIM Group Prague s.r.o. to use the given personal data for the above mentioned purpose. You have the right to modify or cancel the data here given.
